Today we had Emerson dedicated at church. We've always believed that she is a beautiful gift from God, and today we wanted to acknowledge that. She is a gift that we don't deserve, but we promised before our family and church that we would do our best to bring her up in a Godly way, and give her good examples of Godly people to follow. Having our family there to support us was great, and it was such a special moment.
The dress she is wearing had great family memories too, I wore it for my dedication, and my mom wore it for hers. It was such a cool thing to be able to have Emerson wear it, and we hope to preserve it so if she has a daughter one day, she can use it too.
We love her so much and know how blessed we are to be her parents.
